The CLASSES

A different way to build strength.

Strength isn’t built in a single workout. It develops over time.
At REIKA, every class is part of a continuous Strength Cycle designed to help you move well, challenge yourself progressively, recover intentionally, and keep building from where you are.

CONTROL

Before you build strength, you need to know how to move.

This class will help you develop awareness, stability, and precision, so you can move with intention and understand your body better.

BUILD

Then, you challenge yourself with intention.

Through progressive resistance, movement and strength work, you build capacity over time.

The goal isn't to make every session harder. It's to help you become stronger than you were before.

RECOVER

Strength needs recovery to grow.

Recovery gives your body time to restore, adapt and prepare for what's next.

It is not time away from progress. It is part of progress.

Then you return, stronger.

You don't start over every time you step into the studio. You build from where you left off — and over time, the cycle becomes a practice.

You don't have to experience them in any particular order. Some days you may need more CONTROL. Some days you're ready to BUILD. And sometimes, RECOVER is exactly what your body needs — because recovery isn't separate from getting stronger. It's part of it.

Control Build Recover Repeat

A class for where you are

With CONTROL and BUILD, classes are offerend in two levels:

Essential

Move with intention. Build confidence.

Develop control, stability and strength through purposeful movement.

Progressive

Take your movement further.

Build on your experience with greater complexity, challenge and strength.

Start where you are. Progress when you are ready.

MULTIPLE MODALITIES

Pilates + Strength. Built as one.

Your 50-minute REIKA session brings together three complementary ways to move:

  • Reformer: Build control, stability, mobility and strength through precise, supported movement.
  • Mat: Develop body awareness, mobility, stability and movement quality beyond the Reformer.
  • Strength Tools: Progressively challenge your body and develop lasting strength and capacity.

Together, they create one integrated experience—so you can work on different dimensions of strength within the same session.

THE REIKA EXPERIENCE

Good coaching means knowing what your body needs next.

You shouldn’t have to figure out your strength journey alone.

With groups of up to 6, your coach has the space to observe how you move, offer meaningful corrections, understand individual needs, and help you progress.

You’ll know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how to progress.

Meet Coach Tinnie

Coach Tinnie is our Founding Head of Training, bringing more than 30 years of experience in dance education, leadership and the performing arts, together with years of Pilates practice and study.

Her years as a performing artist taught her to listen to the body, understand its possibilities, and recognize the balance between challenge and care.

She understands that every body moves differently — and knows how to guide it toward what it needs next.

Her role is to carry that thinking across our coaching team, from how movements are taught and progressed to how you're supported along the way.

The REIKA Story

What are you building strength for?

REIKA was born from a deeply personal realization: true strength is not defined by how the body looks, but by how it supports the life you want to live.

After a life-changing health journey, our founder experienced firsthand how the body can feel unfamiliar and fragile, and in need of care, not pressure. Movement became a way to rebuild strength, feel better, and learn to trust the body again.

That experience shaped REIKA: a space where people can rebuild strength, regain confidence, and learn to trust their bodies again—where they are challenged progressively, but supported with care, guidance and intention.

Because strength isn’t something to prove. It’s something to build, so you can keep doing what matters most.

Absolutely. You don't need previous Reformer or Pilates experience to start at REIKA.

If you're completely new, we recommend starting with our Foundation class, designed to introduce you to the Reformer, basic movement principles and the way we coach at REIKA.

If you're new to Reformer Pilates, start with Foundations Class.

If you already have Reformer experience, you can explore our other class formats based on your experience and goals.

Our Private session offers a variety of equipment and apparatus that can be used to tailor to your needs, such as: Half Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, mat and strength tools.

We recommend to start with two to three sessions a week. Consistency matters more than intensity — regular practice is what helps strength, control and confidence build over time. Your coach can help you find a rhythm that fits your schedule.

Classes & Booking

Our group classes and private sessions are 50 minutes each.

Yes. You can join the waitlist for a full class.

If a spot becomes available, we may offer it to members on the waitlist or automatically add a member through our booking system.

A waitlist is an opportunity to take an available spot; it is not a commitment to attend.

If you are automatically added to a class from the waitlist, you will not be charged a cancellation or no-show penalty simply because you cannot attend.

For safety reasons, members who arrive more than 5 minutes after class starts may not be allowed to participate, and will result in the applicable class credit being used.
